Totimehuacán in the Historia Tolteca-Chichimeca

The Historia Tolteca-Chichimeca is a codex -- an illustrated native manuscript -- from the Puebla Valley, central Mexico, produced in the 16th century. It recounts the history of several towns and ethnic groups from the late 12th century (1116 A.D.) until the year 1544 A.D. This web site presents brief episodes from the Historia, with special attention to the pre-Columbian dominion of Totimehuacán, in the present-day state of Puebla, Mexico. This is an educational web site published in 2001. Mulhare is not only the scholar, but also the owner and webmaster of ixeh.net. Might be adaptable to any age or educational level, but certainly appears useful for high school or university levels.
